title: The end of a year
time: 9:20 pm

This last year seems to have flown by. So many changes. Some better than others. Here are some of the highs and lows of the year:

- I went to Las Vegas for the first time ever! What a fantastic city! Cannot wait to go back and adventure again.

- I quit my job. When you get to the point where you hate getting up every day because of your job you have to change pace.

- I performed in Vegreville for the first time this year. Granted I managed to roll an ankle at the same time. None the less it was an adventure.

- I went to South America in August with Dunai. We performed 7 times between Buenos Aries and Curitiba. Saw some amazing things, met some amazing people, danced on some fantastic stages and ate great food.

- After tour was over, 5 of us decided to hostel in Rio de Janeiro and on Ilha Grande for a week. I have never seen triple bunk beds before, nor have I have seen sand as soft as the sand on Lopez Mendez beach on Ilha grande. We got to see and experience the Lapa steps, the Cathedral, Christ the Redeemer, Copacabana beach, a live Samba band, Sugar loaf mountain, the night market, the wild yet tame dogs of Ilha grande, monkeys, street meat, soft sand, warm sun, the freshest fruit, fabulous food and some fantastic company.

- Quiting my job gave me lots of free time while I found a new one. Granted that took longer than one would have liked, but it was good rest time. The first week of September was spent camping in Jasper with my parents. Would have loved to have warmer weather, but the fresh air was refreshing for the soul.

- Kris was off on a course when I got the call that we finally had a Shiba puppy! Thus, one day in September Fenris joined the family!

Now, 5 months later, he had grown into a 20lb missile of fur and teeth!

- In October, life took a different turn. I applied for a job a Swish flowers and they took a chance on me. I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity. Kris and I broke up the day before I started my new job. Fenris and I moved back home to Devon, but now we had a backyard to run around in!

- Life has somewhat settled into place. I'm working full time in Sherwood park at Swish 2, dancing with sore ankles is normal now, and fenris has a loving home.

Coming into 2015, I have the following goals:
Move out. Get out a bit more. See a bit more. Travel some more. Learn some things. Try some new things. Meet new people.

Now those are all quite vague, but if I defined them any further I would either lose track of them or feel like a failure.

Therefore, I am stepping into 2015 on a positive note. I will fill my life with positive people and love. That is my resolution.
